The University of Zululand SRC 2006/07 will host a beauty pageant titled "Miss &Mr Unizul" on the 31st of August 2007 (Friday) starting at 18H00. Top musicians and DJs will be present. L'vovo Derrango, Thebe, Professor and Tzozo, Thembi Seete. Top DJs will include DJ Cndo(Durban's Finest first lady), DJ Tira and a lot more upcoming DJs.Tickets are R25.
On the same day starting at 17h30, also in partnership with the University of Zululand SRC 2006/07, will be a gala dinner. The gala dinner will be in Meerensee. KZN's Minister of Finance-Dr Zweli Mkhize will be there as well as other prominent leaders. The day is planned for mothers and daughters and will include topics amongst others: teenage pregnancy, drugs and substance abuse.
Tickets are R500 for a couple, R275 per person, and R325 for a VIP ticket.
Mafikizolo will be the only group performing or entertaining.
